How to Choose? | Basic Expectations | Fraternity Terms | Chapter Resources

"IFC Recruitment is a series of formal events that gives prospective fraternity men the opportunity to meet, socialize, and learn about individual fraternities. Recruitment activities emphasize various aspects of brotherhood and are an incredible educational experience. A prospective fraternity man’s decision to participate in the recruitment process by no means binds him to join any fraternity. Each and every phase of recruitment is a voluntary endeavor. Most importantly, IFC Recruitment is a chance for a young man to meet a large number of his peers. In choosing to join an IFC Fraternity, he will build life-long friendships, develop his leadership potential, and utilize fraternity resources to achieve excellence in scholarship."

Michael Nash
Vice President of Recruitment

You are currently on the fraternity recruitment page for the University of Oklahoma. Registering with IFC early will allow you to get involved with Summer recruitment. Fraternities hold summer events in order to meet potential recruits. These events are also your way to meet and learn more about each fraternity. You can learn basic facts about each fraternity by visiting their pages. To arrive at their page, either click on their greek letters in the header menu or visit the "Chapters" page. From there you can also find your way to their personally controlled webpage or national website. Under the sub-menu "Contact a Fraternity," you can find your way to the email address of each fraternity's recruitment chair. This will be helpful if you already have an idea which fraternities you are interested in.
