Looking for a way to give back to the community, build your resume and have fun? Look no further, check out these Women’s Outreach Center Internships.

Web Design Intern

Responsible for managing the Women’s Outreach Center website:

· Create overall look of the Women’s Outreach center website.

· Manage updates to the site on a regular basis.

Time Commitment: 5 hours per week (volunteer)

Qualifications: Creative, high attention to detail and organized. Experience with web design and layout a must. Must be a degree-seeking student who will be at OU through the duration of the internship.

Graphic Design Intern

Design marketing materials to promote the programs of the Women’s Outreach Center. Intern will create flyers, posters, advertising and publicity for events. Utilize creative abilities to communicate the messages of the center including breast health education, sexual assault prevention and safer sex awareness. Some press release and written communication involved. Excellent opportunity for portfolio development. Possible internship credit through your department.

Time Commitment: 5 hours per week (volunteer)

Qualifications: design experience on In-Design or some comparable software, a strong interest in women’s issues and be a self-starter. Must be a degree-seeking student who will be at OU through the duration of the internship.

Depending on your program, you may be able to receive internship credit through your department.
