The University of Oklahoma has a trademark licensing policy. All registered student organizations must abide by this policy. Presidents of registered student organizations and their advisers are responsible for compliance by their department and any student organizations advised by the department.
It will continue to be appropriate to seek several bids to determine the lowest and best bid when making purchases of items that may feature one of OU’s licensed trademarks. However it is mandatory that you select vendors from the list of licensed vendors that is available online at:

You will be able to view an extensive list of vendors who are licensed to produce merchandise with OU’s licensed trademarks. This list is updated regularly. Any purchase orders or requisitions issued for merchandise that will include an OU licensed trademark should be checked to make sure the vendor is on the current list.
The approval process is simple and in most instances, merchandise purchased for internal use, and not for resale, will not be subject to a licensing fee. However, all merchandise that will include an OU licensed trademark must be submitted to the Trademark Licensing Office for approval. There are no exceptions to this policy. Do not assume that your request has been approved, or that your merchandise is not subject to a licensing fee until an approved request form is returned to you. Do not proceed with the manufacture of any merchandise until an approved request form is returned to you. You can download the form that must accompany the artwork below:
