The University of Oklahoma Chapter of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) extends a warm and sincere welcome to our fellow greeks and friends. NPHC was established in 1930 at Howard University as a national coordinating body for the nine historically African American fraternities and sororities which had evolved on American college and university campuses by that time. NPHC promotes interaction through forums, meetings and other mediums for the exchange of information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions.
The theme this school year for NPHC is “Unity in the Community.” Plans are being made to ensure the 2007-2008 school year will bring change into the community as NPHC reaches out with unity, scholarship and service. The University of Oklahoma NPHC members have performed numerous hours of community service around campus, and have been recognized for outstanding scholastic achievements on a local, state, and national level. Feel free to learn more information about NPHC and extend any announcements or questions as directed on the “Contact Us” page.
